Jen and Mateus
Jen has always loved Nature, and has an innate ability to connect and communicate with the natural world. She’s been living in Canmore, and learning about the local medicinal and edible plants for 8 years, doing garden and land care for the past 8 years.
Mateus has lived in the Valley for 36 years, and has been harvesting wild foods here since he was a child. He is an expert on the local flora and fauna - especially mushrooms and owns a local organic lawn and garden maintenance company called Terrakata.
Both are Certified Permaculture Designers.

Jaime
Jaime Armstrong is a Retired Psychotherapist, Brain Changer, Comedian, and creator of The Unscripted Self, a playful, experiential approach to creating meaningful change. For more than two decades, Jaime has helped people change the patterns, rules, and stories that shaped how they had experience themselves and their lives. Her approach blends therapeutic practices with improv, intuition, neuroscience, and humour.
Jaime believes therapeutic change doesn’t have to be heavy, serious, or painfully introspective. Sometimes the fastest way to get through something is to get out of your head, do something completely different, and have a really good laugh while doing it.
She creates experiences that invite people to stop performing, get curious, and discover what becomes possible when they start being who they actually are. And yes, she’s probably going to suggest you do something that feels a little ridiculous. That’s kind of the point 😉
