Tina Burke

Tina’s journey with yoga began as part of her own healing journey, where she discovered the value of slowing down, reconnecting with herself, and nurturing the mind-body connection. This experience inspired Tina to share these practices with others through a holistic, trauma-informed approach that prioritizes choice, compassion, and creating a sense of safety.

Her background includes working with young men recovering from addiction, where she developed a deeper appreciation for nervous system regulation, resilience, and meeting people where they are.

Tina holds a 200-hour Yoga Alliance holistic yoga teacher certification and a 200-hour Yoga Nidra certification, and is currently completing further training in Yin Yoga.

She teaches at the Living Wellness Hub in Invermere, facilitates private events, and hosts sound baths and yoga and sound bath experiences in the forest. Her intention is to create welcoming spaces where people can slow down, release tension, cultivate inner awareness, and reconnect with themselves through mindful movement, stillness, and rest.

Cost Per Person: $35
Bring-A-Friend: 2 tickets for $60

In the midst of busy schedules and everyday demands, it can be difficult to make space for rest. Stillness in the Rockies offers an opportunity to slow down, turn inward, and experience the restorative qualities of stillness.

This 90-minute experience begins with a gentle yin yoga practice, using longer-held postures to encourage relaxation and mindful awareness. Aromatherapy adds a sensory element to the practice, while guided breathing invites participants to settle into the present moment.

The experience concludes with an extended savasana accompanied by a soothing sound bath, creating space for quiet reflection and rest.

Whether you're a local looking for a moment of calm or visiting Canmore for a mountain getaway, this experience offers a welcoming space to pause and reconnect with yourself.

No previous yoga experience is necessary.

Participants are encouraged to engage with the practice in a way that feels comfortable for them.
