Since buying Creekside Villa in 2014, owners Marcus and Carolyn Abrahamsson have been working to create a hotel that is both modern and rustic, with an intimate feel. A highlight in the hotel is the incorporation of 120 year old barn wood, foraged from an old barn in the Albertan prairies. The barn wood has been a feature in the sunroom for a while now, and guests will be able to enjoy it in our restaurant and of course during the many weddings and events held at Creekside Villa.
Our fully licensed restaurant will open soon and we are very excited for the new furniture that is coming in. Inspired by Swedish class and Caribbean character, the furniture will transform the restaurant into a timeless establishment. The atmosphere in our restaurant will take your dining experience to a higher level.
Another important project at the Villa is the re-landscaping of the outdoor ceremony site. We have had a lot of enquiries about organizing outdoor wedding ceremonies, and come Spring we will have the perfect spot. With the mountains as romantic backdrop, bride and groom will say “I do” underneath a beautiful gazebo with their closest family and friends seated on the patio stones.
Even more than before, Creekside Villa will be your perfect Rocky Mountain getaway!
